FRP-243: Wilderness I: Psychology of Survival

Students enrolled in the Clackamas Community College course, Wilderness I: Psychology of Survival, learn how to be prepared, mentally and physically, to survive in the wilderness by learning the principles of the psychology of surviving and by learning what to do when things go wrong in the wilderness. This course reveals the science of survival to students while covering the supplemental topics of disaster preparedness, ropes and knots, heat related injuries, and increasing situational awareness.
