Description

This 3 1/2 day advanced course will expand the expertise of those who have taken SRT I into the realm of extreme whitewater situations, with the emphasis on victim rescue and night operations. Integrates skills learned in SRT1 and Rope Rescue Technician, or other NFPA 1006/2500 (Formerly 1670) rope courses. NFPA 1006 & NFPA 2500 (Formerly 1670) Technician Level

Completion of SRT-A, SRT-1 and RRT satisfies the requirement outlined in NFPA 1006/2500 (Formerly 1670) Surface/ Swift Water Technician Level. This qualifies graduates to operate on a Swift Water/Flood Search and Rescue team according to NFPA.
