Rope Rescue Operation or Rope Op & Technician COMBO – Course
This is a Rope Rescue Operations (RRO), 3-Day class, which introduces students to the knowledge and the skills that are required by personnel to operate safely and effectively during rope rescues and the class instructor teaches them how to be an effective and active part of a rope rescue team that is working under the supervision of Rope Rescue Technicians. (See COMBO flex option, with added savings, below.)

Students who register for this RRO class have the option to register and pay for the RRO class only, or to also enroll in the Rope Rescue Technician (RRT) class that is scheduled on the following weekend, April 8-10 (Friday-Sunday). Students can register and purchase both with Crux Rescue’s class Flex Option 2. Registering for both, at once with your initial registration, gives you a COMBO pricing discount of $50 ($50 discount off of the regular $1,300 total price for both classes). There are additional discounts available as well, $25 per class, if you pay the total for one or both more than 7 days before the first day of the first class.

Flex Option Class: Students can take only the 3-Day, Rope Rescue Operations Class (first three days of instruction) or combine that with the 3-Day Rope Rescue Technician Class (all six days of instruction).

Class Description: The Rope Rescue Operator (RRO) class is a 3-Day class which introduces the knowledge and skills required by personnel to operate safely and effectively during rope rescues and be an active part of a rope rescue team working under the supervision of Rope Rescue Technicians.
Flex Option 2 Class: COMBO – Rope Rescue Operations + Rope Rescue Technician Class (RRO + RRT)

Class Description: This class is a combination of RRO & RRT training.
RRO – The Rope Rescue Operator (RRO) portion of this class, over the first three days of the 6-Day class, introduces the knowledge and skills required by personnel to operate safely and effectively during rope rescues and be an active part of a rope rescue team working under the supervision of Rope Rescue Technicians.
RRT – The Rope Rescue Technician (RRT) portion of this class, over that last three days of the 6-Day class, covers concepts and techniques to enable small teams to undertake technical rope rescues. A building block approach is used throughout the class so that candidates can progress from key concepts through to the rigging and operation of full systems for raising, lowering and highline rescues.
